Poetry From the Heart (and Sometimes the Funny Bone)

One of my favorite parts of creating ceremonies is writing personal poems for my couples and families. Not generic love sonnets (unless you actually want that), but bespoke pieces that capture your quirks, your journey, and your unique relationship.

Here's where I share examples of my work—poems that made people laugh, cry, or both. Each one was written specifically for the couple or family it celebrated, but they'll give you a sense of what's possible.

What Makes a Good Ceremony Poem?

    The best ceremony poems are:

    • Personal: They include specific details only you would recognize
    • Authentic: They sound like something you might actually say
    • Balanced: Humor and heart in equal measure (or weighted toward whichever you prefer)
    • Memorable: Guests remember them long after the ceremony ends

Commission a Poem for Your Ceremony

Every ceremony package includes a bespoke poem, but if you'd like additional poems (perhaps one from parents, or one for each section of the ceremony), we can discuss that.
